Roadtrip to Kerala (Family Special)

~DETAILED ITINERARY~

Day 0 - TRAIN JOURNEY

• If you have taken with Train Package from Mumbai - Board your train with excitement — a relaxed beginning to your Kerala escape.
• Overnight journey with time to unwind and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 1 - ARRIVAL- KOCHI

• Reach Kochi and settle into your comfortable hotel.
• After freshening up, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour: Fort Kochi, the iconicChinese Fishing Nets, and the charming lanes with their colonial charm.
• Evening free to relax by the waterfront. Overnight in Kochi.

Day 2 - KOCHI TO MUNNAR

• After breakfast, drive through winding roads lined with lush tea gardens and misty hills.
• Take a pit stop at Cheeyappara Waterfalls & Valara Waterfalls.
• Arrive in Munnar, check into your hotel and relax.
• Leisurely evening visit to a tea estate or local market. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 3 - MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING

• Enjoy speed boat ride at Mattupetty Dam.
• Take a view of Tea Garden, later visit Echo Point and Eravikulam (Rajamalai) National Park– This lush sanctuary offers a chance to spot majestic mountain goats, the rare Nilgiri Tahr.
• Evening free at leisure.

Day 4 - MUNNAR TO THEKKADY

• After breakfast, we leave for Thekkady today.
• Reach Thekkady, checkin and later visit Periyar lake, which flows through the Periyar Tiger Reserve & do boating if the slots are available.
• Visit the Famous Spice Garden in Thekkady.
• Later, we watch the Kalaripayattu Show i.e Indian Martial Arts that originated in Kerala.
• We even watch Kathakkali Show.
• Evening free for shopping. O/N Thekkady.

Day 5 - THEKKADY TO ALLEPPEY

• Drive to Alleppey, famous for its tranquil backwaters.
• Check into your hotel and relax.
• Enjoy a backwaters shikara ride through canals and paddy fields, returning to the hotel by evening.
• Overnight in Alleppey (comfortable hotel stay).

Day 6 - ALLEPPEY TO TRIVANDRUM (VIA JATAYU & MUNROE ISLAND)

• After breakfast, drive towards Trivandrum.
• En-route we visit to The Jatayu Earth Center - Enjoy rope way ride to the World’s largest bird Sculpture, an array of Swissmade cable cars. Evening arrive at Alleppey.
• Continue to Trivandrum and check in for an overnight stay.

Day 7 - KANYAKUMARI DAY TRIP

• Early morning departure for Kanyakumari, the southern tip of India where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean meet.
• Visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Kanyakumari Temple, and enjoy the mesmerizing sunset.
• Return to Trivandrum for overnight stay.

Day 8 - DEPARTURE FROM TRIVANDRUM

• After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
• Drop at Trivandrum Airport / Railway Station with wonderful memories of Kerala’s backwaters, hills, and culture.

Day 9 - ARRIVAL HOME

• If travelling by train, reach home on Day 9

• Any personal expenses, extra food, drinks ordered, tips, laundry, shopping, etc.
• Anything not mentioned in the inclusions above.

~Cancellation Policy~

• The Initial Registration amount is 50% refundable only if cancelled 30 days before the trip. 
• Out of the second and final installment paid, cancellation fees will be:
•  25% if cancelled before 20 days of the trip. 
•  50% if cancelled before 15 days of the trip.
• 70% if cancelled before 05 days of the trip.
• 90% if cancelled before 02 days of the trip.
• 100% if cancelled before 01 days of the trip.

~NOTES~

• Standard check-in for hotels: 1 noon and check out by 10:00 AM.
• Early check- in subject to availability.
• There will be limitations to Jain Food options, although we will try our best to provide the best food as per resources available.
• At some sight seeing destinations, buses are allowed only till parking area and participants have to walk till the monument or can hire the local transport on their own.
• For Lunch, we try out local Restaurants and Cafe.
• Breakfast and Dinner will be in Hotel Buffet as per the Hotel Policy, we wont be able to change any menu but we do try providing you varieties subject to availbilty.
• The schedule can be changed on the spot by the tour manager according to the circumstances & convenience.
• Cost arising out of any event beyond our control like strikes, bandh, riots, train cancellation, flight cancellation, mechanical breakdown, natural calamities like heavy rainfall, snowfall, landslides, earthquake will be directly bourne by the participants.
• Trekkers Tribe won't be responsible in case any sightseeing/ activity gets cancelled due to natural calamities or man-made incidents. Guest would be responsible for their luggage/ baggage throughout the trip.
• Train ticket bookings usually start 2 months before the departure dates, so there are chances the tickets will be RAC/ Waiting.
• If you book the tour late, please check the ticket status with us at the time of booking, you might have to pay a bit extra to get a confirm seat (Tatkal) If at all the trip gets cancelled due to any event or lockdown, nominal cancellation fees of 10% will be charged and participants will get the credit note of remaining amount paid which can be used by them anytime in near future.
