DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 1: MUMBAI TO CHANDIGARH

  • 11:00 AM- Meet and Greet at Bandra Terminus Railway Station and Proceed your journey towards Chandigarh by Paschim Express.
  • Spend your whole day in Train playing games & breaking the Ice with your fellow travellers.

DAY 2: REACH CHANDIGARH AND LEAVE FOR SHIMLA (120 KMS, 5 HRS)

  • 04:00 PM- Reach Chandigarh and we'reall set to start our amazing roadtriptowards our first destination- Shimla!
  • 10:00 PM- Reach Shimla, have dinner and check in to hotel. Take proper rest for the night as our upcoming days are going to be full of adventure and fun.

DAY 3- SHIMLA TO KALPA (250 KMS, 10 HRS)

  • Today we start our day early and drive through the Indo-
    Tibet Highway for Kalpa, a small village in Kinnaur District famous for its Apple orchards & magnificent views ofmKinner Kailash.

  • Drive through the Beautiful Roads of Hindustan-TibetHighway. Enter Kinnaur Valley from the Special Kinnauri
    Gate followed by the Sutlej River at the left side.

  • Reach Kalpa by evening, Dinner and chill- play some
    games, listen to music!

DAY 4: KALPA – SUICIDE POINT, DRIVE TO TABO VIA NAKO & KHAB (170KMS, 6 HOURS)

  • Today, the first thing we do is visit the Beautiful Suicide Point in Kalpa to click some cliché photos for our Instagram feed :p
  • Have Breakfast and leave for Tabo.
  • On the way we take a small halt at Khab, the confluence of Spiti & Sutlej Rivers which you will be easily able to differentiate the color of.
  • And then we proceed towards Nako, the last village of Kinnaur District. We visit Nako Lake & Monastery.
  • Late evening reach Tabo, have Dinner and rest.

DAY 5: TABO TO KAZA VIA GUE MONASTERY (80 KMS, 4 HOURS)

  • Checkout after Breakfast & Explore Tabo Monastery which is one of the Oldest Monasteries of Spiti

  • Next, we head to visit Gue - a little village where lies a perfectly well-preserved 500-year-old Mummy of Sangha Tenzing. It was a Buddhist monk from Tibet. It is found in a sitting position, with his skin and hair intact.

  • Fun Fact - To free his village from a plague of scorpions. The monk known as Sangha Tenzin is probably the only mummy in India to have undergone natural mummification. It is believed that when Sangha Tenzin 's soul finally left his body, a rainbow appeared across the sky and the village was rid forever from scorpions.

  • After Gue, we proceed for our final destination of the day- Kaza, the administrative capital and largest town of Spiti, our Home for Next 2 Days.

DAY 6: LANGZA – HIKKIM – KOMIC – KAZA MARKET

  • Today, after Breakfast leave to visit some Best places around Spiti.

  • We explore the Best of Spiti Valley, starting from Hikkim village, which hosts the world’s highest post office at an altitude of 14,567 Ft. Collect and send handwritten postcards to your loved ones from here!

  • Our next stop will be the village of Langza, known for its \ fossils. You can find prehistoric fossil remains here if you’re lucky.

  • Visit the famous massive Buddha Statue here & then leave back for Kaza and visit the local Market for Shopping and exploring some really nice cafes.

  • Back to stay for Dinner and Night stay.

DAY 7: KEY MONASTERY – CHICCHAM BRIDGE – NAKO

  • Today we wake up early and checkout. Start your day by
    visiting Key Monastery situated at the height of 13,668 Ft. You
    can have great conversations with the monks here :D

  • We now visit Chicham Bridge - the World's highest bridge from sea level at 13,244Ft. It's one of the most spectacular bridges in the world & is situated above a deep gorge about 1000 feet high.

  • After lunch, leave for Nako for the Night Stay.

DAY 8: NAKO TO SANGLA (150KMS, 6 HOURS)

  • Checkout after the Breakfast and We now leave straight for
    Chitkul – India’s Last Village on Indo-Tibet Border. 

  • Visit Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba, have some snacks there & enjoy the feeling of eating in the Akhri Dhaba at India’s Last Village :p

    PLEASE NOTE: VISIT TO CHITKUL IS SUBJECT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS 

  • Then we chill by the Baspa River spending some “Me Time” staring at the Beautifully flowing river with the prettiest Backdrop.

  • Reach Sangla by night, checkin and freshen up.

  • Have dinner and have a goodnight's sleep.

DAY 9: SANGLA TO NARKANDA (200KMS, 7 HOURS)

  • Wake up, say bye bye to one of the Best places you have ever came across and leave for yet another mesmerising place – Narkanda <3

  • Reach Narkanda in the evening and let this Night have no end since this will be your Last Night in the Mountains :’) 

  • We will make sure we enjoy the most of it!

DAY 10: NARKANDA – HATU PEAK TO AMBALA CANTT RAILWAY STATION (200KMS, 6 HOURS)

  • We checkout and visit Hatu Peak which is the highest peak in
    Shimla. Scenic beauty of the Shivalik Hills can be enjoyed on the steep road to Hatu Peak.

  • At the top of the peak there’s Hatu temple dedicated to Maa Kaali.

  • Now we leave for Ambala Cantt railway station to catch our Train back to Mumbai.

     

  • 11:00pm – Catch Golden Temple Exp (12904) back to Mumbai.

  • Or Next Day 5:40am - CDG BDTS EXP (22452) back to Mumbai

DAY 11: UNTIL NEXT TIME :(

  • Spend your whole day in Train Journey playing games,
    sharing photos and being in trip nostalgia :')

     

  • 10:45 PM- Reach Borivali & 11:45 PM- Mumbai Central

    OR

     

  • Next Early Morning - 6:30am Borivali & 7:30am - Bandra
    Terminus

Notes

  • Company's vehicle will only be accessible till parking areas
  • The schedule can be changed on the spot by the manager according to circumstances and convenience
  • Participants should be prepared for delayed lunch halts depending on road, weather, and travel conditions
  • Any cost from events beyond control (strike, bandh, riots, flight cancellations, mechanical breakdown, natural calamities like heavy rainfall, landslides, snowfall, earthquake) will be borne directly by guests
  • Trekkers Tribe won't be responsible if sightseeing/activities are cancelled due to natural calamities or man-made incidents
  • Access to high-altitude regions of Spiti Valley (especially Hikkim, Kibber, etc.) may be blocked during winter due to excessive snowfall — visits are weather-dependent, with best alternatives arranged as feasible
  • Winter Spiti Expedition is an experience in itself — due to sub-zero temperatures, in-room washrooms are non-operational; access will be to 2–3 common washrooms shared among the whole group
  • Avoid carrying suitcases or heavy luggage — a backpack is more convenient. Limit baggage to 1 main luggage bag and 1 small daypack
  • No room service, luxury hotels, or room heaters — this is a backpacking trip designed to experience the Himalayas to the fullest
  • If the trip is cancelled due to events beyond control or lockdown, a nominal cancellation fee of 8% will be charged, with the remaining amount issued as a credit note usable in the near future
  • Train ticket bookings usually open 2 months before departure — late bookings risk RAC/Waiting status; ticket status should be checked at the time of booking, and a bit extra may be needed for confirmed seats depending on availability

Cancellation Policy

Non-Refundable Amount: The initial booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Before 7 days of the trip: If cancelled before full payment, only the non-refundable amount is retained
  • Between 7–5 days before the trip: If cancelled after paying in full, 50% of the balance amount (excluding the non-refundable deposit) will be refunded
  • Within 5 days of the trip: No refund will be provided

No Show / Last-Minute Cancellations: If the participant fails to show up or cancels within 48 hours of departure, no refund will be possible.

Transfer of Booking: The participant may transfer their booking to another person at no extra cost, provided this is done at least 5 days before the trip.

Trip Cancellation by Us: If the trip is cancelled due to weather conditions, government restrictions, or operational reasons, the participant will be offered a full refund (except non-refundable costs already incurred) OR credit for a future trip, usable within a specific period.
