Day 1 – Mumbai to Chandigarh
- 11:00 AM – Meet and greet at Bandra Terminus Railway Station; proceed towards Chandigarh by Paschim Express
- Spend the whole day on the train playing games & breaking the ice with fellow travellers
Day 2 – Reach Chandigarh and Leave for Shimla (120 kms, 5 hrs)
- 4:00 PM – Reach Chandigarh and set off on the roadtrip towards Shimla
- 10:00 PM – Reach Shimla, have dinner and check in to hotel. Rest up for the adventure-filled days ahead
Day 3 – Shimla to Kalpa (250 kms, 10 hrs)
- Early start, drive through the Indo-Tibet Highway to Kalpa — a small village in Kinnaur District famous for apple orchards & views of Kinner Kailash
- Drive through the Hindustan-Tibet Highway, entering Kinnaur Valley via the special Kinnauri Gate, with the Sutlej River alongside
- Reach Kalpa by evening — dinner and chill, games and music
Day 4 – Kalpa – Suicide Point, Drive to Tabo & Khab (170 kms, 6 hrs)
- Visit the Suicide Point in Kalpa for photos
- Breakfast, then leave for Tabo
- Halt at Khab — the confluence of the Spiti & Sutlej Rivers, where the different river colors are visible
- Late evening, reach Tabo — dinner and rest
Day 5 – Tabo to Kaza via Gue Monastery (80 kms, 4 hrs)
- Checkout after breakfast, explore Tabo Monastery — one of the oldest monasteries of Spiti
- Visit Gue village, home to a well-preserved 500-year-old mummy of Sangha Tenzing, a Buddhist monk from Tibet, found in a sitting position with skin and hair intact
- Fun fact: Sangha Tenzin is believed to be the only naturally mummified monk in India, said to have freed his village from a scorpion plague, with a rainbow appearing as his soul departed
- Proceed to Kaza — the administrative capital and largest town of Spiti — home for the next 2 days
Day 6 – Langza – Hikkim – Komic – Kaza Market
- After breakfast, explore the best of Spiti Valley
- Visit Hikkim village, home to the world's highest post office at 14,567 ft — send handwritten postcards to loved ones
- Visit Langza village, known for prehistoric fossils
- Visit the famous massive Buddha Statue, then return to Kaza to explore the local market, shopping, and cafes
- Back to stay for dinner and overnight
Day 7 – Key Monastery – Chicham Bridge – Nako
- Early wake-up and checkout; visit Key Monastery at 13,668 ft, with the chance to converse with monks
- Visit Chicham Bridge — the world's highest bridge from sea level at 13,244 ft, situated above a ~1000 ft deep gorge
- After lunch, leave for Nako for the night stay
Day 8 – Nako to Sangla (150 kms, 6 hrs)
- Checkout after breakfast, head straight for Chitkul — India's last village on the Indo-Tibet border
- Visit "Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba" for snacks
- Note: Visit to Chitkul is subject to weather conditions
- Relax by the Baspa River
- Reach Sangla by night, check in, freshen up, dinner, and rest
Day 9 – Sangla to Narkanda (200 kms, 7 hrs)
- Say goodbye to Sangla and head to Narkanda
- Reach Narkanda in the evening for the last night in the mountains
Day 10 – Narkanda – Hatu Peak to Ambala Cantt Railway Station (200 kms, 6 hrs)
- Checkout and visit Hatu Peak — the highest peak in Shimla, with scenic views of the Shivalik Hills en route
- At the top, visit Hatu Temple, dedicated to Maa Kaali
- Leave for Ambala Cantt railway station to catch the train back to Mumbai
- 11:00 PM – Golden Temple Exp (12904) back to Mumbai, OR next day 5:40 AM – CDG BDTS Exp (22452)
Day 11 – Until Next Time :(
- Spend the day on the train playing games, sharing photos, and trip nostalgia
- 10:45 PM – Reach Borivali & 11:45 PM – Mumbai Central, OR next early morning 6:30 AM Borivali & 7:30 AM Bandra Terminus

Notes
- Company's vehicle will only be accessible till parking areas
- The schedule can be changed on the spot by the manager according to circumstances and convenience
- Participants should be prepared for delayed lunch halts depending on road, weather, and travel conditions
- Any cost from events beyond control (strike, bandh, riots, flight cancellations, mechanical breakdown, natural calamities like heavy rainfall, landslides, snowfall, earthquake) will be borne directly by guests
- Trekkers Tribe won't be responsible if sightseeing/activities are cancelled due to natural calamities or man-made incidents
- Access to high-altitude regions of Spiti Valley (especially Hikkim, Kibber, etc.) may be blocked during winter due to excessive snowfall — visits are weather-dependent, with best alternatives arranged as feasible
- Winter Spiti Expedition is an experience in itself — due to sub-zero temperatures, in-room washrooms are non-operational; access will be to 2–3 common washrooms shared among the whole group
- Avoid carrying suitcases or heavy luggage — a backpack is more convenient. Limit baggage to 1 main luggage bag and 1 small daypack
- No room service, luxury hotels, or room heaters — this is a backpacking trip designed to experience the Himalayas to the fullest
- If the trip is cancelled due to events beyond control or lockdown, a nominal cancellation fee of 8% will be charged, with the remaining amount issued as a credit note usable in the near future
- Train ticket bookings usually open 2 months before departure — late bookings risk RAC/Waiting status; ticket status should be checked at the time of booking, and a bit extra may be needed for confirmed seats depending on availability
Cancellation Policy
Non-Refundable Amount: The initial booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Cancellation Policy:
- Before 7 days of the trip: If cancelled before full payment, only the non-refundable amount is retained
- Between 7–5 days before the trip: If cancelled after paying in full, 50% of the balance amount (excluding the non-refundable deposit) will be refunded
- Within 5 days of the trip: No refund will be provided
No Show / Last-Minute Cancellations: If the participant fails to show up or cancels within 48 hours of departure, no refund will be possible.
Transfer of Booking: The participant may transfer their booking to another person at no extra cost, provided this is done at least 5 days before the trip.
Trip Cancellation by Us: If the trip is cancelled due to weather conditions, government restrictions, or operational reasons, the participant will be offered a full refund (except non-refundable costs already incurred) OR credit for a future trip, usable within a specific period.
